izyLrn operates a strict no-refund policy. We deliver an extensive Free plan and free trials so you can evaluate the Service before paying. By completing any purchase, you confirm that you have evaluated the Service and accept this policy in full.

No-refund policy
All purchases on izyLrn are final and non-refundable. By placing an order or paying any subscription, recurring renewal, token top-up, or one-time fee, you confirm that you have evaluated the Service through our free tier, free trials, or product demos and that you are willing to assume the risk that the Service may not meet your expectations.
We do not offer:
- refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or perceived under-use of the Service;
- pro-rated refunds for any unused portion of a subscription term, including after cancellation;
- refunds for non-completion of a course, examination failure, change of school or syllabus, or relocation;
- refunds where access has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service.
This policy is in addition to, and not in derogation of, the disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in our Terms of Service.
Free evaluation before purchase
Because all purchases are final, we strongly encourage you to evaluate the Service before paying:
- use the Free plan, which gives access to a curated set of features at no cost;
- watch the demo videos and product walkthroughs on our marketing site;
- read our FAQ for plan inclusions, limits, and supported boards;
- reach out to students@izylrn.com with any pre-sales question.
By completing payment, you acknowledge that you have had a fair opportunity to evaluate the Service.
Subscription cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation has the following effect:
- your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period for which payment has already been made;
- auto-renewal is stopped — you will not be charged again at the next renewal;
- you continue to have full access to your paid features until the end of the period;
- no refund is issued for the unused portion of the current term, including for annual or quarterly plans.
Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or your stored content. To delete your account, see the relevant section in our Privacy Policy.
Tokens & one-time consumables
All purchases of in-app tokens, AI credits, voucher codes, or any other one-time consumable are final and non-refundable. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency, transferred between accounts, or sold.
- tokens do not expire as long as your account is in good standing;
- unused tokens are forfeited if your account is closed by you or terminated by us for breach of the Terms of Service;
- we may change the token cost of any feature, or end promotional grants, at any time without notice and without liability.
Live coaching sessions
Live coaching session bookings are governed by the following rules:
- Cancellation by you — you may cancel or reschedule a session up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time for a full token refund. Cancellations within 12 hours of start time are charged in full.
- No-show by you — if you do not join a confirmed session, the booking is charged in full and tokens are not refunded.
- No-show by tutor — if a verified tutor fails to attend a confirmed session, the booking tokens will be credited back automatically within 24 hours.
- Quality disputes — disputes about session quality must be raised within 24 hours via in-app channels. We may, at our sole discretion, mediate, refund tokens, or take action against the tutor — but we are not obligated to do so.
Limited exceptions to the no-refund policy
We will consider a refund at our sole discretion in the following narrow circumstances:
- Duplicate charge — the same plan or token package was charged twice for the same account in the same transaction window due to a payment-system error.
- Unauthorised charge — your payment instrument was used without your authorisation, evidenced by a credible police complaint or fraud report from your bank.
- Material undisclosed change — we have removed a paid feature you specifically purchased the plan to access, and we are unable to provide a comparable replacement.
- Statutory consumer rights — where a refund is expressly mandated by applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be contracted out of.
Approval of a refund under this section does not create any obligation, precedent, or expectation to grant refunds in subsequent or unrelated cases.
How to request a refund
If you believe you qualify under one of the limited exceptions above:
- Email students@izylrn.com with the subject line "Refund request — [your registered email]".
- Include the order or invoice ID, the date and amount of the charge, the payment method used, and the specific reason for the request.
- Attach any supporting evidence (e.g., bank statement screenshot, police complaint reference, screenshots of the duplicate charge).
- Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the disputed charge. Requests filed after 7 days will not be considered.
We will acknowledge within 3 business days, investigate, and communicate our decision within 14 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 business days thereafter; the time taken to reflect in your account depends on your bank.
Chargebacks & disputed charges
Please contact us first if you do not recognise a charge — we can usually resolve the matter within 1-2 business days.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, or in relation to a charge that does not qualify under our limited exceptions, may result in:
- immediate suspension or termination of your account;
- forfeiture of any unused tokens, credits, or remaining subscription term;
- recovery of chargeback fees levied on us by the payment network;
- blocking of the payment instrument used from future purchases on the Service.
Free plan
The Free plan is provided at no cost. As nothing has been paid, there is nothing to refund. You may stop using the Free plan or delete your account at any time.
Taxes
Where a refund is approved, only the base amount actually received by us, net of any non-recoverable taxes, fees, payment-gateway charges, and discounts already utilised, will be refunded. Government taxes (such as GST) that we have remitted to the authorities will be refunded only to the extent they are recoverable by us under applicable law.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Changes apply to purchases made on or after the revised "Effective date". We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or in-app notice.
