Welcome to IzyLrn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile apps, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for students aged 10 and older. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current information at signup.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts violates these Terms.
- Notify us immediately at students@izylrn.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to bypass, abuse, or jailbreak the AI tutor.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the question bank or learning content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes others' rights.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings — your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions honor the original price until renewal.
- Tokens purchased separately are non-refundable but never expire.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any notes, PDFs, or files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service to you (e.g., generating summaries, answering questions about the document). We do not use your private content to train AI models.
6. Our content
All content provided by IzyLrn — including the question bank, lesson explanations, software, and brand assets — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. You may use it for personal learning only, not for commercial redistribution.
7. AI-generated content
The AI tutor uses third-party large language models. While we work hard to ensure responses are accurate and educational, AI can occasionally produce errors, especially for highly technical or time-sensitive content. Always verify important facts, especially for exam preparation and homework.
8. Live coaching
Live coaching sessions are facilitated through verified independent tutors. IzyLrn screens tutors but does not employ them. Disputes about session quality should be raised through our support channel — we will mediate and issue refunds where appropriate.
9. Service availability
We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause the Service for maintenance, security incidents, or upgrades. We will notify users of planned downtime in advance.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we believe IzyLrn helps students learn more effectively, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes such as marks or rankings.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IzyLrn's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms after notice (or immediately for serious violations). On termination, paid features stop working at the end of the billing period; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where IzyLrn is registered.
